Soccer is more than the next result. Train with Coach Rafael Montoya to build your technique, understand the game, and play with confidence.
I'm Rafael Montoya. Born in La Ceiba, Honduras, I moved to the United States at 13. Soccer has remained a constant through that journey—and coaching has become my way of sharing that passion.
I began coaching in June 2022 through Real Madrid Foundation camps. Since then, my journey has included camp leadership across the East Coast and coaching with New York Red Bulls Youth Programs.
At RMB Training, I bring those experiences to a personal setting: learning who each player is, understanding what they need, and helping them take the next step. I continue investing in my coaching education, with the long-term ambition of coaching a first-division team.
Three connected principles guide how I coach. Each session meets the player where they are, then challenges them to grow.
Build the technical foundation and game understanding that make a player more comfortable on the ball.
Put learning into action through purposeful challenges that connect training to match situations.
Create an environment where players feel supported, ask questions, and find the confidence to try again.
Every session is intentional, competitive, and adjusted to the player's age, level, and goals.
Individual attention, high repetition, and a plan built around the player's specific technical and tactical needs.

Real sessions, real instruction, and a training environment built around the player.
